JTrust Group Takes Action to Protect the Climate

Jakarta, October 28, 2023 – Almost all coastal areas in Indonesia are classified as areas with potential natural disasters. The types of disasters that are often faced by those who live on small islands and close to the beach and sea are tidal waves/abrasion and tsunami waves.

Coinciding with the 95th Youth Pledge Day, thousands of young people took simultaneous action to protect the climate at 521 points. One of which was at Tanjung Pasir Mangrove Center, Teluk Naga, Tangerang Regency where 150 participants from JTrust Group (Bank JTrust Indonesia x JTrust Consulting Indonesia x JTrust Investments Indonesia), communities, volunteers, and government agencies took part in three series of actions such as planting 3.000 mangrove seedlings, sowing 5.000 seedlings, and cleaning 83kg of waste from the coast.

This CSR program is a form of J Trust Group’s commitment to corporate social responsibility programs, especially on the social pillar. This activity has become an important part of J Trust Group’s corporate culture to make a positive contribution to society.
